Junto con sus amigos matan el tiempo con lo inmediato: escuchan música en el dormitorio bajo una iluminación improvisada de antro, repasan videojuegos, juegan fraternalmente al combate cuerpo a cuerpo, simulando o acaso entrenando para aquello que acontece en un exterior insospechado, al que se sale con sigilo exclusivamente, a deambular sin rumbo fijo pues no hay a dónde ir. Un exterior de zozobra y fuegos provocados. ¿Incendios forestales? Venganzas y territorios en disputa. La locación de este drama proclive al punto de vista subjetivo sugiere el margen, un ecosistema que se desenvuelve bajo sus propios linderos, lejos del centro y del espejo. Un no-lugar al que los mayores despojaron de buenaventura para los más jóvenes y donde epifanías florecen a la fuerza, como recuerdos o añoranzas, como esa sentida interpretación a guitarra eléctrica y batería en una calle de barrio, en alguna ciudad o población cercana, donde se canta “En este cuerpo hay alguien más…”. El espacio fracturado como cárcel permite la irrupción del artificio frontal en un tratamiento hasta el momento documental de un mundo sin adultos no exento de tensión y amenaza. El descubrimiento de un esqueleto gigante por los amigos en el campo es el punto de quiebre de los personajes y del plano formal. ¿A cuál animal pertenecen los huesos? ¿Hay más como él vivos en la zona? Será necesario entonces pintarse el cuerpo para la guerra. Y entonces sabemos que los restos tienen dueño, un príncipe de paz que los resguarda como amuletos, demiurgo errante por entre torres eléctricas y baldíos… Sofisticada reflexión estética multiformato sobre el miedo y el convertirse en adulto, en un ambiente de incertidumbre donde no hay futuro perfilado más allá que la lucha por el instante. Las viviendas del hoy quizás satisfagan nuestras necesidades físicas pero no contienen, en muchos casos, nuestro ser como expresión de quien la habita. Edificio que en un principio sería una escuela de la UNAM, fue invadido por el Frente Popular Francisco Villa Independiente. El Frente surge como muchas otras organizaciones, a partir de la insuficiencia de los programas gubernamentales para resolver el problema de vivienda. La instalación muestra como la estructura cambió por la autoconstrucción y apropiación del espacio e intenta reconstruir la memoria del espacio invadido.Las bombas molotov volaron del CCH 6 y cayeron sobre la calzada Ignacio Zaragoza. Era la respuesta del Frente Popular Francisco Villa (F.P.F.V) a la agresión de los granaderos. Esa noche de mayo de 1994, el territorio villista de Cabeza de Juárez, al oriente de la ciudad de México, era campo de batalla. Estudió literatura latinoamericana y participó en el programa educativo SOMA. Su ópera prima “Príncipe de Paz" recibió el premio a la mejor película mexicana en FICUNAM 2019 y tuvo su estreno internacional en FidMarseille, donde obtuvo la mención especial de la competencia internacional y la mención especial del Centro Nacional de Artes Plásticas (CNAP). También presentada en el Lincoln Center en NY, de igual forma fue competencia oficial en festivales como Viennale, Festival Internacional de Cine Mar del Plata, Márgenes, Transcinema, entre otros. Ha dirigido varios cortometrajes entre los que destacan “fantasma, animal” (2020) y “Atados los años engullen la tierra” (2022), este último comisionado por parte del FICUNAM. Ambos trabajos estrenados en FIDMarseille, participaron en más festivales de cine nacional e internacional. Además, ha presentado videos e instalaciones en algunos espacios independientes y en museos de arte como: CAP • Centre d'art de SaintFons en Lyon, Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, Tabakalera - Donosti, Biquini Wax EPS, Pequod Co Galería, Museo de la ciudad de Querétaro, Museo de Arte de Zapopan, Baxter St. en NY, Queens L.A., SOMA entre otros. En 2019 el festival de cine colombiano EUREKA realizó una retrospectiva de sus trabajos de cortometrajes. En 2025 estrena su segundo largometraje titulado FRÍO METAL en la competencia internacional del Festival internacional de Cine de Marsella (FIDMarseille) donde obtiene el Georges de Beauregard Prix.
